Closure of Seven Hills Road - Seven Hills Road is being shut in three stages, to replace gas mains. This third closure period commenced on 20 June and is scheduled to last until 30 August 2010. The road will remain open to cyclists and pedestrians. Read the views of SGN and Surrey County Council.

North Weybridge 20 mph Zone - We are pressing for the North Weybridge 20mph Zone to be extended to roads around St James School (see our 21 Sept 2009 question to SCC). In March 2009, when the 20mph signs went up, the limited extent of the zone surprised many residents.

New arrangements for bin collection started on 5 October 2009, with enhanced
recycling through weekly collection of food waste, and alternate
weekly collection of recycling and residual refuse. We've been pressing to make sure
householders'
needs are met.
